The Spine Patient Society (SPS) has some exciting news to share.  The SPS has been invited to represent the Spine Patient community and will be an official exhibitor at this year’s International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS) Conference in Barcelona, Spain.

The SPS, being the world’s first Society, and only one of its kind, solely representing Spine Patients, is most excited about this opportunity and we are looking forward to fostering meaningful relationships with those performing ground-breaking research and providing exceptional clinical care to Spine Patients around the world.

The ISASS – The International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery – is a global, scientific and educational society organized to provide an independent venue to discuss and address the issues involved with all aspects of basic and clinical science of motion preservation, stabilization, innovative technologies, MIS procedures, biologics and other fundamental topics to restore and improve motion and function of the spine for: surgeons, scientists, inventors and others. SAS is dedicated to advancing major evolutionary steps in spine surgery.

The Spine Patient Society will be holding our First Annual Meeting as a Society in May 2010. As this is our first meeting, we have a very casual agenda—this is a time for Spine Patients to get to connect with each other in person.

    • Merrickville is a destination village situated along the historic Rideau Canal in Ontario, Canada.     Merrickville offers an array of activities for tourists to enjoy. Hit the streets for some great local shopping in the unique stores, boutiques and artists’ studios; paddle along the Rideau and visit the Rideau Bird Sanctuary; explore the Historic Merrickville’s rich history and architecture; pamper yourself at one of Merrickville’s spas or, simply, relax with a picnic, by the Rideau River.
