Thumbs Up A Thank You to the Spine Patient Society Community

    Hello Everyone:

I hope this message finds you well and in relatively little pain. I wanted to thank all of the Spine Patient Society Members that selflessly support other Spine Patients on our Forums, through private messages, email and on our live, real-time chat feature. Without your drive to help others and share your personal experience with chronic pain and spine issues, many Spine Patients would not have a place to turn for support.

The Spine Patient Society is truly unique in that the Society represents Spine Patients from all over the world. I do hope that our collective knowledge and experiences are helping Spine Patients in profound and meaningful ways.

Thank you for making this non-profit a success and a life-changing resource for Spine Patients.

    Most respectfully,

    Justin Averna

    Justin:

You are one that I, as a member, would like to take the time to Thank, as well. This website along with the forum, is a fantastic place to come and share, learn, vent, encourage and to be encouraged.

I really appreciate the time, effort and concern that you show to us 'spineys' in keeping this great resource up, running and current on a daily basis. If I understand correctly, you are a medical student (correct me if I'm wrong), therefore are probably extremely busy in all other areas of your life, yet you are dedicated enough to keep all of this going.

    Thank you so very much!!!!!!!
    Best Always,

    Alynn

I am very appreciative of your efforts as well, Justin. I, like many I'm sure, was entering into a foreign land when I was told that I had three degenerative discs. I really didn't know what that meant. I am so glad that I found the Spine Patient Society. It has been an important source of technical data, practical feedback from patients that are experts by nature of their experiences, introductions to the best surgeons in the world, and words of encouragement when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Soon I should know exactly what surgery I am going to have and who will be doing it. You and the others at SPS that have shared directly with me and others that have provided helpful information that I read all contributed to guiding me down the best path for my recovery. Keep up the good work.
