    How was your travel?
    Was it covered?

    Hey Gil,

I had the good pleasure of having Dr. Bertagnoli 3 years ago for my 3 level lumbar adr's: L3-4, L4-5, L5-6. Other than bumping my surgery up to practically the minute I arrived, I had an excellent experience. I had to have 3 levels done so I only wanted Dr. B to touch my spine. Insurance did not pay. What else? I have had other issues, as you know Gil, needing the ALIF fusion one year after my adr's, etc., so it has been a rough road for me, but I would easily have done it again. My adr's are still perfectly placed. Some additional facet atrophy....but what are ya gonna do? I feel like I am just now getting back on the saddle again. Good luck Gil!

    HI Gil,
You waited this long you might as well go with the very BEST! I heard from somewhere on here that they want you to wire the money first. If you could in any way afford it, that what I would do. I am not married or have anyone that could go with me so I had to find someone in town. I think I made a good choice. He was one of the 9 doctors in the US that was chosen to present at a conference. There was also a doctor from Germany. Go to spinemasters.com to see who the German doctor was. Please let us all know the haps. Your wife my like this. Buy a German dictionary. Carmen

    Gil,
Cathy (Treefrog) had her double adr there and has a long thread on it - pictures and all with her and Dr. B.
She was there at the same time another girl from the forum was and they shared a room. She has a good thread too. I think her name was Jess or something like that. See if you can find it.
