2008 - L4/L5 annular tear and DDD
2009 -Dr. Frank Cammisa, prescribed Aleve, rec. ESI's and Physical Therapy.
Nov. -Spinal Disc Decompression w DRX-9000. 20 Sessions. MRI showed no improvement.
2010 -Regenexx Stem Cell Injection into L4/5 w/ 2 Platelet Rich Plasma Injections. No results.
Oct. -Met w/ Dr. Zigler. Got ESI's. No Results. Recommended ADR. Referred to Mr. Nick Boeree.
Nov. -M6-L ADR on Nov. 3rd with Mr. Boeree, The Spine Clinic, UK

Very helpful and very vivid. They put that disc through quite a test didn't they.If only our natural discs could withstand the same.

April 2007 - Injured one cervical C6/C7 and one lumber L5/S1 in same accident
No major treatments so far aside from exercising and core strengthening best I can.
Never, ever, ever, give up.

I think the freedom looks more promising, but I haven't found any people that have had it installed.

Re: Freedom Lumbar Disc Video Demo I know one who had one level done in the trial here in the UK that my surgeon did, he is doing really really well. Am in contact with someone who is due to have it put in next month.

Any way you can find me more details on his/her procedure? What was his condition? In what hospital did he/she get surgery? What doctor? Can he/she pretty much do anything now?

Like Alison, I have a contact with a recipient of the Freedom disc. It is a lady who received it at Texas Back last March. She is doing really well. She says she is back to working out at about 95% of her pre-injury levels.I am going to Texas on February 18th to have ADR surgery as a participant in the Freedom trial. I have a 50/50 chance of getting the Freedom or the ProDisc. I will let you know how it turns out. How are you coping with your pain levels? Any news about the stem cell treatment? Good Luck!

I will be happy with either. Heck, at this point I would be happy with something my sixth grader made in the basement. LOL

The video was great, in showing the testing done.
I wonder how many times the test pressed on the disc, and if and when the flexible middle had any failure.
If the body puts pressure with movement on a disc lets say 500 times per day, then hopefully the test company would at least triple that and run the test for as many days, as would indicate someone using it over a lifetime.
If anyone has been able to contact the manufacturer and get testing info, i would be interested.
