Default Has Synthes Sued Axiomed Yet?

Does anybody know if they have filed suit yet or waiting till freedom lumbar hits the market. I have not done a ton of research, but Im assuming they will as they knocked down the maverick disc bc of the "central keel". Hopefully they dont win as this device is clearly different, but who knows with patent law in the good ole usa.

    whats going on?
C4-5: Mild disc height loss with central annular fissure. Small broad-based left paracentral disc protrusion. Moderate central canal stenosis-the disc protrusion abuts and mildly flattens the left ventral surface of the spinal canal.

C5-6: Disc desiccation with mild height loss.Diffuse discosteophyte bulge and uncovertebral joint hypertrophy, moderate central canal stenosis- Severe neuroforaminal stenosis bilaterally, right greater than left

Synthes had sued maverick disc owner ( I think medtronic) over the patent for its pro disc bc maverick had a central keel too, and synthes won the suit although its an entirely dif disc and function lol, but i guess they some how got on their patent the central keel design. I was just asking if they had gone after the freedom lumbar disc yet since it does have a central keel too. Synthes Sues Spinal Kinetics Over Artificial Discs (Update1) - Bloomberg talks about synthes suing spinal kinetics.

^Why did synthes sued spinal kinetcs? the M6 has a much diff design then the pro-disc.

I originally thought same thing that it was just the central keel. But upon further research, synthes had some kind of patent with a similar type design as spinal kinetics. They just had been sitting on the patent i guess and have not produced it yet. Maybe they plan on hoping to win the suit vs spinal kinetics and then maybe buy them, thus having a product ready for market and didnt have to do the work.

What patent could it be? they dont seem to be similar at all.

Synthes = greed = people suffering from "rock hard" pro-disc = Epic Fail
