Thank you. I feel this form is an amazing resource. Nobody should take a surgery lightly and it should be the final option. But in my case, it is pretty much the only thing keeping me going I can't imagine living the rest of my life like this, I would simply not be interested in another 50-60 years in this pain. And it has been very long 3 years.
I hope it help to resolve at least some of my pain.
petrkr, I think that is a very realistic expectation, that surgery will help to resolve at least some of your pain. I kind of cringe when folks are looking for the take all my pain away attitude, or else, you know? I think it can be a recipe for disappointment, big time. I'm glad SPS has been such a good resource for you. That is always one of our many goals, so that is so good to hear. I wish you the best, Cindylou

• February 15, 2011 ESI bilaterally in lower lumbar...relief only for few days. Considering 1 more.
