I really like that it is written by top doctors, makes it more credible (as we all know, you can't believe everything you read). I will definitely be reading this and I want to watch the surgery videos (it is very interesting to me) Dr. Yue and my surgeon are the inventors of the Active L, the disc that I have. So, that right there gives the book 2 thumbs up!

Am I missing something? Can I access the videos online anywhere, or do I have to buy the book to get them?
Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things . Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!

This is great! I discovered the existence of this book just yesterday and put a request in for my local library to obtain through their inter-library loan system, but now I can have the bulk of it at my fingertips. Thanks for the link. Free is more affordable than $290.

Sure thing, Brad! This book is a great resource and is hands down one of the most comprehensive books on motion preservation technologies. Most of the book is found on GoogleBooks, but some of the sections / images are protected by copyright and are not included.

    Free sure beats $290!

I was so very happy to see my doctor as one of the authors. I felt kind of bad that I will not be able to go to Germany but you never know, things might change. Now that I see my doctor, perhaps I can stay in my home town and feel that it may be okay. Dr. An at Rush Teaching Hospital in Chicago will be okay while I walk with God. Thank you Justin for bringing it to everyone's attention.
