    Default Ski Utah!

Hey everybody. Just got back from skiing at Park City, Deer Valley, and Alta in Utah. Landed on my head and butt several times over the trip and everything held together! What a relief! I was scared to death while I was falling for the first time.

I experienced very little pain and discomfort from skiing and falling. The core exercises work. I am living proof.

I hope this gives everyone a lift, and also encourages you to not be afraid to live again.

    Thank you Stenum!

DUDE!!! This is awesome! Congrats on getting back on the mountain--in record time, if I may say. Did you avoid moguls and just ski the groomed runs?

I did lots and lots of double black diamond bumps and crazy steep runs! It was great!

I have had no trouble since I got home either.

I had two discs replaced with maverick adr's at L4-5, L5-S1.

    Live, Live, Live!

That is so awesome Ben! Honestly. I was supposed to go to Beaver Creek earlier this month but had to cancel due to selling our house and having to pack. I haven't skied in two years so I was frankly not sure how I would do but definitely wanted to give it a go. It was a Fam trip my husband was invited on, so it would have been free too. The best kind! Oh, well......hopefully next year. I am so happy for you and your incredible recovery. Good for you! You give the rest of us hope. Thank-you, from the bottom of my heart.

    Thanks guys.

I hadn't skied in three years. I was so excited and scared at the same time. It all worked out great though. Now I have to focus on not doing stupid things like lifting heavy stuff, not exercising, etc.

ADR surgery has been a life changer for me. I wish you all well!
