Hey Justin, thanks for the good info on the latest news on the freedom disc. I am no expert, but to me this disc looks like an awesome design. Do you have any idea where to find techncial testing info on the spinal kinetics m6 lumbar one? Or for that matter their cervical one? I know on the freedom site they have alot of the testing information listed about how many cycles it lasted and all that good stuff., but I havent been able to find any such info on the M6 one. Thanks for any info/assistance.

This will be interesting to hear about. It looks like such a well thought out design. The cushioning aspect that closely mimics the body is incredible. My only concern is the different materials involved and the possibility of bacterial fixation. The design truly looks so promising compared to anything else out there.
The discs I received seemed to be well thought out, have a great center of rotation, but completely lack any cushioning. I tend to wonder if that is what has left some occasional flaring up of my SI joint.
What are your thoughts on the design of the Spinal Kinetics discs Justin?

BTW, I read through the M6 specifications. As an Engineer, it looks like an awesome design, and the placement method looks easier than others I've researched.

As with Terry, my basic concerns are also based around the number of materials, and potential degradation through time. The concern centers around micro-cracking of the polymer sheathing. However, this is purely conjecture on my part, and I'm certain their Engineers and spinal experts have taken this into consideration.
I'm very interested in this ADR, and will continue to research it in the future.
