Hi, all!!! I'm still waiting on the auto insurances and medical insurance to coordinate to be able to schedule my surgery. the medical insurance did deny the ADR, before I got the auto insurance companies involved...
Right now, all of the insurance companies are sharing information, trying to figure out my coverage and how it will all come together. Fortunately, my pain is fairly tolerable most of the time with Lortabs and anti-inflammatories, which allows me to continue to function, at work and some at home.
I feel extremely blessed that my pain is manageable right now. And my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to those of you who are dealing with more severe pain. I wish I could help take away your pain. Back, neck and spine pain is some of the worse pain I've ever had, including childbirth.
I've had several conversations with my office manager regarding my paid leave for surgery. Now that I'm not sure when my surgery will be scheduled, not even knowing if it will be before the end of the year, I was concerned about losing the paid leave that I do have left. In our company, if you don't use it, you lose it. And I have about 18 days left. She has talked to the owner of the company, and he has agreed to let me carry some of it over to next year to cover being out for surgery if it it postponed until after the new year.
Waiting for impersonal insurance companies to decide about my health is driving me nuts, but I'm trying to be patient, as I feel that the ADR is a much better option for me. So we'll see how it all plays out.
Thanks for listening, if you have stayed with me this far. God Bless you all and try to have a Great Weekend!!!
GO Florida Gators!!!!!

Cindy Lou:
Thanks for the response! I'm like every one else, I guess, I am so impatient!!! And I guess my biggest concern is the compression of my spinal cord. I know that the doctor said to just be careful, and it isn't an emergency, yet, but it still scares me a little, you know? I'm not the most 'graceful' person in the world, and I'm afraid to be paralyzed!

Glad that you are doing better! I only have one son, but I remember being pregnant, and other than the morning sickness, I really enjoyed being pregnant. Matt will be 18 on Halloween, so its been quite a while!!!
Good luck for the rest of the pregnancy and may you have an easy, quick labor!
