My name is Joanne. I have been dealing with Cervical Stenosis on C 5-6, C 6-7 for over 3 years. The problem is progressing. I have been denied coverage from Anthem BC of CA for the Prodisc-c implant. I am in the process of filing my appeal. I know many of you have been in this situation with insurance. Has anyone won an appeal with their insurance company? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Best of luck to you with your appeal. If you havent already go to the Insurance section of the forum and you will find a lot of useful information from Laurie Todd about fighting for your life with appealing denials from insurance companies. She sells her book on making the best appeals around (and her track record proves her method....she's never lost an appeal) so buying her 30-40 dollar book would be a wise investment. Good Luck to yoU!

Thanks Greg. I took your advice and I a have been in contact with Laurie. She really is motivational. I truly am inspired by her story. her book is on the way. Laurie suggested that I try to find people affiliated with Anthem in CA who were approved for the Prodisc-c implant. That has been my challenge. Thanks for responding and for the well wishes. Joanne
