Sometimes a fusion can be the exact right decision for the right person. Good luck as you find your way, researching the very best solution for your particular lumbar needs. Cindylou

Wow! I'm so sorry you've had such a painful history of injury, surgery, injury, more surgery, etc. etc. It makes me count my blessings that I've only had 2 bouts of back problems. I have continued to tell myself that others have situations much worse than mine (as I lay at home alone for ANOTHER day, week, month without a clear-cut solution/decision...), and this forum is evidence of that very thing! It doesn't make me any less desirous of a repair so I can move on with my life, but man oh man, my heart goes out to you and folks like you! I'm so glad you've found something that might actually decrease your pain significantly. Yeah!!! Thank you so much for your advice. I've been looking up hybrid lumbar surgery for a few days now and am amazed at the idea--never struck me before that you could have BOTH ADR and fusion and it not be a life-long sentence of continued problems and pain! :-) So appreciate your remarks. Take care! Renee'
