Met with surgeon today who told me my chances of fighting insurance for cervical disc replacement was not good. I did not want to have cervical fusion for a number of reasons, but was most concerned with having the surgery again if the disc below or above weakened. After talking to him about all options I decided to go ahead with the ABC plating fusion. Scheduled in the next couple of weeks. I hope to find a couple people who have had this type of surgery so I can understand what I will be up against. ...
