I used to have a highly developed 6 sense, but it faded away as I got older and had too many responsibilities, but now that I am not so busy, I have all this new found time on my hands, it must have returned

I have a good feeling about that date, while I am in Germany, you will be having your Discogram done on the same day as my ADR surgery!

I am really sorry to hear you had to beg/plead/badger to get a date for your procedure ... I'm sorry you've had to wait so long. If the powers that be spent a week in our shoes, their rules would change in a hurry!

Keep after them, Alison, you've waited long enough!

I'll get praying that it happens on that day so that we both get our awfulness over in one day! I asked GP for more tests in june, got referred by consultant for disco in november so have been waiting a really really long time now.

November? WOW, a long time is an understatement!

I am sorry it's taking them that long to take care of you.

Really hope it goes ahead & you get it done. I know it's not particularly pleasant - when I had mine done under your surgeon I had mild sedation & he put some local in the skin around the site. I can honestly say it really wasn't that bad but I didn't have any pain when he tested the disc but did have for 10 days after but it settled down to "normal" after that.

I'll see you on 5th May but will be thinking of you on the 27th as it's a few days before my birthday.

Yay Alison!! So glad it is confirmed in writing! Aren't we the loony spine patients who get excited about a DISCOGRAM?! What's wrong with this picture? Good luck, and keep us posted!
