Default Had bilateral epidural injections this morning.

Hi all, I had a set of bilateral epidual injections early this morning with my pain management doctor. A best friend was my driver. I had sedation and this was honestly one of the first times where a doctor gave me enough so I wasn't in miserable pain during the procedure. Unbelievable. I got home and slept for 4 hours. Kinda feeling like I need to lay back down again. Anyway, I sure hope this gives me continued relief. Otherwise, we are getting closer to looking at a pain pump, and I don't want it. (well, I shouldn't say I don't want it; I just want relief longer term, but hope it doesn't come to that.) Please pray this works. Thanks. I appreciate it. CL

I'm so glad they sedated you enough! That is such a stressor for me going into procedures, worrying if they are going to believe that I am hard to sedate. I'm praying this works and that you don't need to go to the next step.

Thank-you all for the well-wishes and prayers. I sincerely appreciate it. I'm really being diligent with my pt exercises at home too. I do love my physical therapist. She is awesome and is really getting creative with "the right exercises" for me. She puts a lot of thought into our time together and what I need, so I am very grateful for her. Thank-you too CD....thanks for popping up to say hello!! Hope you are well yourself. Thank-you friends, CL

    Hi Cindylou,

Hope the injections are successful for you, and give you some relief. Looks like I'll be having some myself soon.

Auto accident 6/11/2010 caused neck and shoulder owwwwies!
Cervical - extrusion at C6-C7 and protrusion at C3-C4. Cord stenosis at C6-C7, and foraminal narrowing at C6-C7 and C3-C4. EMG = no nerve damage.
Shoulder - partial tear in supraspinatus tendon, Tendinopathy and lot's of inflammation. Some atrophy of deltoid muscle.
Chiro and PT helps. Cortisone injection in shoulder helping. Epidural Steroid Injections at C6-C7 coming soon.

I already responded on your thread Roger, but again, here's to hoping your injections provide the necessary relief as well. God bless, Cindylou
