CL, Kathy and Katie,
It was some sort of steroid. I remember him saying kenaflex or something like that but when I googled it last night I could not find anything like that at all. I know the numbing agent was Lidocane. Starting to get a little sore so I just took another Norco. It is a different soreness than before so I'm thinking it is just the injection sites.
I've been walking around every hour or so just so I won't lock up, and that seems to be helping.
Thanks ladies, you are real's in my book!!!!:D

That's absolutely wonderful! I am so glad that it is working, Dave. :thumpup:Please keep us updated. How much has the pain decreased now?
Compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6
Herniation and compression at L3/4 to L5/S1. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, distraction pain/burning in legs-two weeks post-op.
Katie,
I'd say 40-50% reduction so far. I no longer have the searing hip pain I had prior to the injection. Should get much better over the next several days.
