Just got home from another series of injections. 4 facet injections, 6 nerve root blocks and an epidural. I feel like a pin cushion right now. Legs are numb but my head is flying high. Two shots of versed, 1 soma muscle relaxer and 2 10 mg Norco's. No pain but then again, I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow.
Looks like this will continue because I really do not want to go under the knife.

Dave, surely you had some sedation for all this, right? I hope you see some longer term relief from this. Hang in there Dave. Never easy, I know.

Congrats, Dave,
I, too , have had numerous L5-S1 nerve blocks, and unfortunately, they did not last more than 7-10 days most everytime.
I am not trying to discourage your great results because after being in a wheelchair for 5 years, the first work I was able to do was a few days after one of my L5-S1 nerve root blocks. Oh what a feeling that was! So far everything I have tried has only had temp relief. I hope yours lasts, though, cause everyone's condition is different. Good Luck Dave!![]()
