Always better to see the glass half full, than half empty, yeah? I am beginning to stress with this move, because my husband continues to go out of town for business each week, all week, and I am feeling overwhelmed. I cannot complete this packing project by myself. I do some work, then have to sit and ice. The cycle repeats itself. The tens unit helps some, but........ I kinda blasted him last night on the phone and said no more travel till after we are moved! He then allowed he is scheduled to go to New Jersey next week, but just for a few days. grrrrrrrrr. We have this glitch of 6 days in limbo with all our stuff too, as we close on our old place the 25 of March, but don't close on the new place until the 31 of March. Neither party wants to compromise the closings to help us out. The movers told me it will cost 40% more under these circumstances, as they pack differently and load things on pods for those 6 days, so this could cost us thousands more, which I am not prepared for. I am just in a quandry as to what to do.
    HI Cindylou,
It is me again. Because your husband is going out of town so much now you are going to have to hire someone to help you. That is what I had to do since I do not have a husband. Right now I cannot do the job myself. I have so much more to do before any surgery can take place. I don't feel like I want to put out the $$ but I just don't have a choice. Has to be done..... You will be glad and you will feel so much better when someone is doing the work that must be completed. The sooner you hire someone, the sooner your life will start to become normal again. Some of the stress will be off of you. Carmen

Good advice Carmen and I have heeded it. I called my old cleaning lady back and hired her again to come 1 day a week to pick the house up, change the sheets, clean the bathrooms, etc. That is a relief, just handling that. I also have a free consultation this morning with an estate sale business, to see if we are compatible and just exactly what services they offer. We still have quite a few pieces of furniture that have to be sold, plus odds and ends.....gotta get that garage cleaned out so we can begin to pull our cars in it!

    HI Cindylou,
Boy do I know what you mean by cleaning out the garage. I just have to make sure everything is good to go in the winter months. i have heat set up in my garage so it is nice in the winter for me and the care. Thank you for writing. I hope your hip surgery went well. You deserve to be with out pain. Certainly would be different. Different is good when it means without pain. I will be looking forward to your posts. Carmen
