Just had ablation on my C3-7, right side for diagnosed "Facet joint syndrome"... After the procedure I felt great, but when the numbing agent wore off a few hours later I experienced a large increase in my pain levels, which lasted for almost a week before I returned to my pre-op pain level.

I have had some loss of sensation in my neck so I can tell that the procedure definitely got rid of some nerves, but apparently my pain issues are more involved than my specialist thought. Since the procedure I have also experienced increased symptoms (pain, loss of sensation, numbness/tingling, involuntary movement) in my legs. I have been told that the issues in my legs are "referred" from my neck; but at this point the info I am getting from my medical practitioners and specialists are all contradicting each other and not holding water with the results of the ablation.

I'm glad to hear that it has worked for some people here; wow to be able to wake up to no more pain sounds great. I just wanted to post in this thread about my experience for the future reference of others.
