    I honestly don't see why doctors shouldn't be paid. I understand the potential conflict of intrest. But, on the other hand, if a doctor is investing in a device, they obviously believe that is going to change spine treatment, so I think that is a good thing. Of course, they could be wrong and lose money; but that's the chance they take. I also think when they have money at stake and are in clinical trials, they are probably more careful and thourogh, as they want the device to suceed. I also think they should be paid for their consulting, as they have to make money too. If we want the best of the best surgeons and doctors consulting on these things, these are busy people and what is the incentive to consult and give their opinion if there is nothing in it for them? Just my opinion.
    31 years old- 1/06- In wreck with 18 wheeler at 25 years old; 6/06- Head on collision on Interstate, both wrecks other drivers fault. Numerous MRI's, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture, TENS therapy, massage therapy, facet injections, epidural injections, Nerve study, Discogram, confirms pain in L4/5, IDET, decompression, Bi-lateral neurotomy L3/4/5, denied by insurance twice, in Active L clinical trial, had surgery March 17, 2009 in Miami, FL- received Active L disc at 29 years old. Pain and medication free as of October 2010!Mommy to Emma- 8 years, Ava- 6 years & had baby Eli after ADR, via c-section on March 25, 2011 , completely pain free still!
