Default Anyone (except Mike) try the Regenexx procedure?

Im really considering getting the Regenexx treatment. I have the money saved up. I just need some more info before I take the plunge. I am 29 years old so hopefully youth is on my side.

I too have issues in the thoracic spine. Three disecated discs (DDD) with no loss of disc height. This area is killing me with chronic burn/ache. I also have herniated disc at l5-s1 that could be treated. Honestly the thoracic is more of a priority to me.

I cant find anyone who has undewent this procedure except for a guy named Mike. He is on a couple of blogs sites and his experience was unsuccessful. I am sure there are more people out there who have underwent this procedure. They claim to have treated over 800 people for various conditions. I am sure more then one person (Mike) has been treated for this condition. Are there any MRI's anywhere? Regenexx says they do case studies but I searched their site and have yet to find one showing positive results treating disc diseases. Any case studies? It seem they are having more success with treating knee and shoulder disease. I know the FDA wants to classify stem cells as a drug so they are giving Regenexx problems, but that is another topic. It boils down to this. DOES IT WORK?

Has anyone else undergone this procedure? Can you get me in touch with someone who has? Where can I go to get more information? Thanks in advance.

Hi, have you spoken to Mike? He's still around, he posts here. I thought the trial was finished (and the results were crap).

I don't know a whole lot about the technology but I'm under the impression it isn't ready. If you're going to drop significant cash on it I'd be inclined to give it another 5 years and wait and watch.

I spose you've done all the facet injections etc? You see the thread by the bloke (yes he is also a spine broker) who runs ispine, has just had his costovertberal nerves ablated, might be one to watch and another avenue that may be worth investigating. A lady there had the VATS, she reckoned it actually fixed her thoracic pain, but she pain a big price with phrenic nerve damage.
