I wonder if that is also taking into consideration the medical tourist trade numbers, or just using the native population?
India has been doing a great job of marketing medical tourism for years. Even in the tiny village where I live, there are a number of women who have gone there for spine surgery.
If I have any say in the matter, I'll be pushing up the numbers for Brazil as wellIt is ironic that this is a Canadian company/study, as based on my experiences I'd have to say we are one of the most backward countries for spine surgery.

. Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!
