    Default Future of ADR

I would assume the future of ADR is the lateral approach with discs that dont require keels, aka the ranier disc and the 3df discs. If this is the case, im assuming revisions/replacements will not be "easy" but able to be done also through a lateral approach if they do wear out less than the 50 plus years they are tested for. Any thoughts?

The Ranier CAdisc trials have just begun. The article is seen here.

I just updated the Ranier CAdisc thread with the same article. I think these keel-less discs seem like a very natural and smart progression though I have yet to understand how they work. Is the disc trapped between the vertebral bodies by some means? Does the disc rely on bone growth? Is double sided tape used ? They look very promising.
