on page 2 under summary of opportunity they predict in their analysis that the disc regeneration technology will hit the market in 2016 . I hope it is sooner than that as their fusing technology is already in phase 3 and they had predicted that to be to market in 2016 also. Hope the FDA doesnt screw around with this!!!
Riding 4 wheeler and playing basketball. Collide with guy in mid air and I hit concrete on one leg and then fall down. Wake up in pain cant move for few hours, fine few days later. Back never the same.

Thanks SN. There's a ton of red tape and pre-market hoops that these companies have to jump through.

OH I know man that they have to jump through alot of red tape. Although 2016 does suck, if they actually get it to market where people can get this in 2016 for a decent cost, I will take that. Fortunately as of now, I am not in major back pain besides a suspected pulled muscle on my left side, but it isnt that bad. I am grateful for the ability to walk mostly pain free and sit without having to take any pain meds and I dont mind taking my little back pain. I just see this stuff as my solution and the solution for approx 70 percent of people with disc issues. It is really amazing what they got coming with stem cells and Im hopefully, definitely hangning in there till they get this stuff. I plan on to lead quite a boring life lol no running, no jumping, no roller coasters, and for sure no freaking 4 wheelers any more , just walking and sitting lol. I just hope im still a candidate with my small little osteophytes.

I say lets play a game, lets predict years it takes mesoblast to get fda approval lol, i say 6 years from now. Also, anybody have any ideas on companies working on facet regeneration with stem cells. They really need to get this moving asap. I see a future though of mris out the wazoo of people who have normal aging of the disc like a degenerated disc at 50 with no pain getting juiced up again lol, just hope I am not too late to the party.

Just read a depressing opinion/post about mesoblast. A post on ispine seems to doubt that mesoblast stem cells will work for degenerated discs since they degenerated the testing discs chemically. So, does anybody else think this wont work for naturally degenerated discs?

I really hope the $2 billion investment from Cephalon will speed things up. FDA loves big pharma. I'm hoping for the disc repair product in 2014. Meso has plenty of funds to get things done.

They may not work as well, but if Regenexx C can stop degeneration as seen in case studies, I believe Meso cells will work well at least in early to moderate degeneration. They will probably be least beneficial in severe late stage degeneration.
