Thanks for the info. I have never heard of fibrin injections. I'm glad to know to not use them.

So a nice piece of info. One I am still at Stenum and one gal has 2 Fibrin Injections done in Texas. Of course they did not work (too bad) and she was at Stenum for 2 or 3 level ADR. When Dr. Ritter-Lang got to the site he found the fibrin leaked all over her internal veins and surrounding the spinal column from all sides! It has of course hardened since then and made very soft tissues fragile. The way I understood it, it also leaked out into the posterior space, pushing on the spinal nerves. They had to call in vascular surgeon and clean it up before continuing the surgery to replace the discs. The 2 hours surgery took 4 hours.
She is recovering, but I heard that Dr. Ritter-Lang may decline further surgeries on people with fibrin as he felts it was too dangerous to operate on and took too much time. (Risk from anesthesia death, since they had to clean up the vascular system also tearing and difficult recovery).
I was told again the best time to have ADR is before anyone else messes with your back. Steroid injections are ok. Going directly to ADR should give one the best chances of recovery.
