Default Happy Days!!!! Anthem BC/BS, Artificial Disc Replacement (In-Network Reimbursement, Stenum)

Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield just reimbursed me 100% less my deductible for my 2 level ADR at Stenum in Germany!!!!! Stenum is a BCBS preferred provider so they even considered in-network! WOW!!! I am shocked and thrilled. The key words used are "medical necessity" when you approach your insurance company. Hope for everyone.

    Ben,

That is awesome news. I am seeing a slight turn around with insurance companies covering ADR. That's great.

Did you have 1 ADR and 1 fusion or both levels ADR?

That's awesome! My provider did pay for parts of my surgery, even though they denied it pre-surgery and denied my appeal. I think they paid like $8,000 total.

Also, I know Runner is fighting BCBS for her ADR and is needing approval letters. Is there anyway you could contact her and pass on her approval or EOB showing payment so she could use it in her fight? You can black out all your information on it and just leave the rest. I know she would be thrilled to have it.

I feel great now that I am bionic! Still some soreness after I leap over tall buildings, but it gets better every day. This is day 70 post surgery. I would very happy to help by showing my eob to anyone who needs it. Just drop me an email. The Stenum people helped so much in getting the claims process started. Happy Friday to all.
