Just read your thread. Sorry, is all I can say. I have been though the appeal business a few times over with my ins co and I just hate what they put us through.
Hopefully, Aetna will be more forgiving than my insurance co was (is) and actually consider the merits of your case for surgery.
I have to run off to go get my drugs. I do have a warning about prescriptions. I was shorted nine pills last time and I told the pharmacist to count the pills in front of me or my husband from now on. We suspect someone had their hand in the kitty jar and they blamed me for the shortfall but it wasn't my fault.
