Welcome to the Spine Patient Society!
About
The Spine Patient Society™ supports & advocates on behalf of patients who have suffered spine injuries or disorders. Patients with spine disorders often feel overwhelmed and alone in their pain and often feel like there is no place to turn for support. The great majority of Spine Patients are confused about their medical condition(s) and are truly uncertain what this means in regard to their future health and well-being. The Spine Patient Society™ has been created to help demystify the “medical jargon,” diagnoses and treatments that surround the lives of Spine Patients in an effort to help educate these patients about their disorders while providing much needed social support.
Educational information on spine procedures like artificial disc replacement, fusion, and new spine surgery technologies is available. Come join us and connect with Spine Patients from all over the world!
Mission Statement
The Spine Patient Society™, a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to empowering patients with spine disorders through advocacy, education and global social support. Our mission is to support all Spine Patients regardless of a chosen treatment modality, as we realize no two Spine Patients are alike. We believe that Spine Patients should not only support one another, but that they should also have access to professionally written, peer-reviewed educational materials. Our Society inspires Spine Patients to be proactive in their medical care and to become knowledgeable about their spinal disorders.
Disclosure Statement
The Spine Patient Society is a place for spine patients to freely share information and feel supported in the process of seeking treatment for their spines. We will, in no way, question the ability of any surgeons, hospitals or facilities. As a Society, we will not take a strong position either for or against any medical professional. We are here to merely support Spine Patients through the often murky waters of spine pain and in the common goal of pain relief.
