Default Peter Hoch, Transportation to/from Munich Airport (Dr. Bertagnoli)

If you are headed to Straubing or Bogen for surgery with Dr. Bertagnoli, transportation from the Munich Airport can get tricky (the autobahn signage) and expensive.

Peter Hoch's car service is a great way to get from the Munich Airport to either Straubing or Bogen (or anywhere you need to go really). He is a really nice guy and he is a lifesaver with lifting baggage, etc. His rates are extremely reasonable.

The quoted information regarding Mr. Hoch below is from Dr. Bertagnoli's website:

    Transportation from Munich Airport:

We highly recommend the patients use Mr. Peter Hoch's car service for travel to and from the airport. Mr. Hoch, who is very dependable and has worked with Dr. Bertagnoli for many years, speaks English quite well, helps the patients with their luggage, which is very important especially after implantation surgery, and gives our patients a discount. Normally, taxi service to Bogen or Straubing is approximately 160 EUR and he will take you from the airport to Straubing for 100 EUR and to Bogen for 120 EUR. His mobile number is +49 171-645-2359. His e-mail address is peter-hoch (at) web . de. Because his prices are so low, a tip of 10 to 15 EUR is appreciated, but not required. The train is also available from the airport to Straubing or Bogen. There is one transfer and it takes about 2 hours. Cost is about 30 EUR per person.

Yes, Peter Hoch was very good. He speaks English very well, and was willing to talk about Straubing, other cities, and things to do here. I found him to be very pleasant, and a good driver, though he does drive fast (but it didn't bother me).

Herr Hoch drives a very gently pedal and will never slam the brake unless it is an emergency. He keep distance fro other vehicles and plans the stops at traffic lights. It is a no brainer to use his service when going for treatment in Bogen, Straubing. Don't try to "save money" by looking for cheaper transportation.
