I saw previews for this and it sounded good. We bought Grand Torino on Blue Ray and really liked it. We also watched some movies on On Demand, that were good. One was Taken and the other had Tom Cruise in it and it was about World War II and people in the German army who were against the war and plotted to get rid of Hitler (can't remember the name of it; but it was real good; and I believe it is based on a true event)
31 years old- 1/06- In wreck with 18 wheeler at 25 years old; 6/06- Head on collision on Interstate, both wrecks other drivers fault. Numerous MRI's, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture, TENS therapy, massage therapy, facet injections, epidural injections, Nerve study, Discogram, confirms pain in L4/5, IDET, decompression, Bi-lateral neurotomy L3/4/5, denied by insurance twice, in Active L clinical trial, had surgery March 17, 2009 in Miami, FL- received Active L disc at 29 years old. Pain and medication free as of October 2010!Mommy to Emma- 8 years, Ava- 6 years & had baby Eli after ADR, via c-section on March 25, 2011, completely pain free still!
Movies I'm hoping to be up to going to the first showing of
"Time travellers wife" on Thursday, its one of my favourite books and the first movie I will have since my surgery so a double treat. I usually only go to see things that will look extra special on the large screen but just can't wait for this to be released on dvd.

Yes, it was, did you just love it? I'm not usually into war movies or shoot up things; but I loved this. They did an awesome job and it really shed light on what really happened during that time. Inglorious Bastards is not a true story per say, but the French commandos did harass the Germans viciously.
Pretty much anything by written Quentin Taratino is fiction, usually "way" out there.
I gotta see this one, along with the new GI Joe movie. I'm pretty much a action movie person myself, although I will take in a mushy movie when the wife wants to go.

My husband just watched Valkyrie on Sunday evening and told me it was really good when I got home. I love action, espionage, drama movies too. And a good documentary. Funny, as a girl, I am not into chick movies at all. (now i'll go out with the girls to see Sex & and City, but I'm tagging along for the camaraderie, not the pic, per say.)

Dave, just a warning: I read online that the GI Joe movie wasn't even prescreened because it was that bad--they decided just to release it.I gotta see this one, along with the new GI Joe movie. I'm pretty much a action movie person myself, although I will take in a mushy movie when the wife wants to go.

That may be the case. From what I read (don't remember where) the reason they did not prescreen is they wanted the public to decide for themselves on wether it was good or not, instead of letting a few decide. This brings up the point that even if the movie really does stink, people will spend the money to find out themselves. Ticket sales were $52,000,000 last weekend. I'll wait to see if they drop suddenly this weekend. If they do, I'll wait until it is released on DVD.
