Dave, I'm in the "wagon-owning club" (a "sport" wagon) and I love it. We use this thing like a truck and it's been paid off for many years now. I always laugh at those people with HUGE SUVs--most of them have never even seen the dirt.

Todd,
How is that new Camaro doing? That is one sharp car buddy. It is kind of neat to see that auto makers going retro in many of their designs the last couple of years.
I drive a 1995 Taurus wagon, but it is paid for, in "mint" condition and only has 100,000 miles on it. I've got buddies that chuckle because I'm driving a grocery getter, but it's better that the 500-600 a month payments they are making on the gas guzzling big trucks.
Hope your summer is still going great.![]()

Very true Justin! I can say that my 10 year old SUV Land Rover has seen plenty of dirt in it's lifetime up at the cabin! It too has been paid off for years and has 91,000 miles on it. I take really good care of it, and people are shocked at it's true age. We have a pickup truck too, that we use as a truck. he-heWhen I do retire my car I want to get something "more green" for sure, but with this economy as such, I sure need to wait and not have another car payment milking us dry. We have also entered the "mid-life spoiled brat club," as my husband bought a Jaguar XK 8 convertible a few years back that we drive just in the summertime. I have mostly benefited from this purchase, as he travels extensively to the East coast every week.
Lucky me!
I tell ya, that machine has get up and go!
