It gives me hope. do you use Shimano or canpanyolo ?

although i couldn't see the last but Cavendish won on 2nd stage, and arashiro was 5th !

Got a few bikes, thats an old retired one, mainly shimano kit. I had some nerve damage to my right leg from compression before the adr and this leg went numb after cycling for a bit but in a spd/look shoe it carried on working ok. The main problem is flexibility in your back and avoiding impacts through the spine but there are some good handlebars and suspension systems that can make things alot better. As long as your surgeon/physical therapist says its ok to do it then its ok.

They think arashiro might be first japanese rider to finish the tour which would be excellent

    Hi ajj1001,

I see lots of falling down in tour de france this year, but enjoying the
    race and scenery of france.
I don't know much about these european teams though, do you have
specific team to cheer ? I know you support cavendish most:thumpup:

the roads were really bad today because of the diesel that gets left behind and then when wet hits it makes the roads really greasy. the white lines that are painted on only add toloa the danger. loads of falls today.

I'm a big lance armstrong supported but not the astana team. my teams this year are Garmin as they have two riders that I have met who trained alot in Manchester (bradley wiggins and david millar) and of course columbia-htc as they have one of lance's support riders of old, george hincape, and are doing a wonderful job for cav. I also follow a number of riders on their twitter feed during the tour so that adds another dimension to the experience.

its getting hilly tomorrow with an unclassified climb at the finish so it should get even more interesting.

    Lance loves the Mountains .

Rain makes it very hard to ride fast

how about the Frenchman winning the stage on a solo break

    lest all ride on

    Hey Gil,

It will be interesting to see how Lance does in the mountains the next 3 days. I think he just might make this his 8th.

its a very sad day, last stage and I'll miss watching hours of racing. lance did well and my cav was a star (though not in green) and brad has done amazing as well.

    Hi Alison,
yeah, Arashiro and Fumi did great as first Japanese racer to finish the tour.
next year, more fans are expected to watch the race.
hopefully not just shimano tools but more racers coming to compete there

I ride a Colnago C40 Campy equipped bike, Waterford 2200 Dura-Ace equipped bike, Nishiki Alien Shimano XTR equipped MTB. I ride on average 2,000 miles per season and find cycling is the best way to stay sane.

Lance did well this year for not being in a tour for four years. I now do not like Alberto as he is a poor sport who does not understand the word team. I hope Lance gives him a cycling lesson next year.

Lance has qualified to the the worlds due to his 3rd place in the tour. wonder if he will do it? he is due to the tour of ireland, a friend of my daughters is on the rapha condor team but i'm not sure he will have time to kidnap lance to bring home to me! i think watching cycling keeps me sane (though my definition of same might vary from others) since i can no longer ride.
