    Default Before You Press Send....

....it would relieve a lot of stress if you highlight your whole note and then press Ctrl C With so many messages disappearing because of the evil post troll who lives and works here sometimes, it would help to save our posts before sending them.

That way, if the troll tries to work his black magic to make the post disappear, we will have thwarted him Just open the window again and press Ctrl V, and voila, it is still there to send another time!

And he only seems to show up when we have written an extremely long and thoughtful letter

Just speaking from lots of experience....
Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things . Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!

The hiccups (lost posts) that were seen during the hosting transition should be history. We were running on two different servers at the time of switching hosts, so the posts were actually submitted but they were not transferred over. This only affected a handful of posts.

If you are writing a long post, make sure to click the "Preview Post" button frequently. Also, type your post in a Word or TextEdit and paste it here after you are finished. The settings on this Forum are set to help ensure that posts are not lost.

A lot of this also depends on a Member's connection to the Forum (very slow connection speeds like dial-up , etc.).
