    Default Christmas

Hey everyone, I have to share our Christmas lights on our house this year. Hubby always says he isn't going to put them up again; but then he does and it grows every year. We have them plugged in everywhere around the house, otherwise it blows the breakers. One year we had them all going on the front porch and in the garage, we would come home to find that our garage door wouldn't open and no light on the front porch, because the breakers were tripped! So, here it is

What a beautiful home you have! I definitely would not be the one wanting to hang all those lights and most definitely wouldn not want to take them down!

    Default To Dave...

The snow would be here in Wisconsin, where we just got 16 inches last week! It was blowing and drifting for 2 days. I opened the front door to a huge snow drift..... Here's a picture of that drift....

Kathy and all. This is a link to a video of a house a few miles from me. It has become on of the largest christmas light shows in the country. Over 200,000 LED lights at work here. ENJOY.

You have a gorgeous home Kathy. I'm hoping that maybe next year we can decorate our house like that. No money to do it this year.
Disc Bulge C4/C5, Disc Degeneration T11/T12, Bi-Lateral tears L5/S1, Diagnosed w/ Lumbar Disc Derangement w/ Radiculopaphy. Treatment: IDET, Percutaneous Discectomy, SI Joint Injection, Facet Block. All failed. Empire BC/BS Denied Coverage for ADR-lost all of my appeals. MVP also denied coverage.

    Anterior/Posterior Fusion L5/S1 -1/20/09 - I'm not 100% but I'll take the 85%! When the weather co-operates, it's 95% woohoo!

Thanks Danielle. Seems every year, my husband gets more afraid of heights... I've heard that from several people, that as they age, the get more scared of heights. I have never seen a snow drift in my life. That is crazy beautiful picture, I can't believe all that snow. I really have never seen anything like it, that doesn't happen in Texas!

Dave- I'll take some snow in a week and a half, kids will be out of school and we can play in it; but we won't see any. We had a snow that lasted all of 5 hours the other day and we will be lucky to see snow again this year. I just took that picture tonight. It is supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow here, I'm ready, it's been cold here, like the 40's (cold for here). That is a cool lights display, that is one of my favorite things to do, take the kids, and go look at Christmas lights.

Karin- We didn't start out with all of those lights, we add more each year. Every year, I go the day after Christmas and go shopping. My first stop is Wal-Mart and I stock up on all the Christmas lights and decorations at 50% off. I also buy abunch of the gift sets, toys and such at 50% off. They make great presents throughout the year, especially with having 2 young kids, we are always invited to a birthday party, so it's nice to just go to the closet and pick something. I will also let the kids go and pick something out of their every now and then, for a surprise. It's nice to, when you are broke and don't have money for a gift, and you have something. I spend several hundred dollars the day after Christmas, but it sure comes in handy.

Dave- And we just lost the tree leaves in like the last week or two!

I would love to see everyone else's Christmas lights and snow pictures! My kids would love it too. They keep asking when it is going to snow. I keep having to explain to them that in Texas that just doesn't happen much.
