    Congrats Justin and THANK YOU!!

As a new person to the Spiney world, it is EXTREMELY overwhelming. Being able to have a place like this to come, ask questions, vent, meet fellow spineys and in the end meet new friends, is priceless.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of SPS.

Wishing you MUCH success in all you do!!

    All the best,
    Mary

Bob, thank you for your kind words. I stay motivated and determined to help others because I know there are many people in similar shoes to mine before my 2-level Artificial Disc Replacement surgery in 2003.

I was lost, had to do my own research and I was incredibly overwhelmed by the thought of such a surgery at a relatively young age (23 years old).

Spine patients, like many other patients facing illness, are quickly overwhelmed with "foreign medical lingo" and complicated issues concerning their spines. Many of these issues feel like they require life-changing decisions "overnight." This Society, including this Forum, will hopefully help bridge the g a p(s) between medical professionals and spine patients.

Mary, I wish you the very best on your journey to find a solution to your problems. Please keep us posted and thanks for your nice words.

I'm just laughing thinking my hubby is going to be totally thrown off when he doesn't see me on the old site I used to visit! He is always giving me a hard time, saying I spend more time with you all than him. (didn't know I was stalking you, hehe)

Seriously, thank you Justin and Terry for all the hard work you put into this site. I am thrilled to be somewhere that is truly un-biased, with no ulterior motives. It is wonderful, that where God has given you both a heart for helping fellow spineys.

    Thanks a million,
    Kathy

Mary.Mary I love the avatar of the little baby. She is such a serious little lass. Very cute. This picture is so cute she made me laugh at how serious she looks here.

Welcome all of the familiar names here. I am excited that we all have been a part of each others lives for so long and it is so easy to be supportive towards good people.

All of you are the best and I hope this site becomes; "Our Rock."

Kathy, Todd and Linda--thank you for your nice words! Terry and I are excited about the Society. The SPS Forum is only a "side project," but we hope it offers unparalleled support to many Spine Patients and that the Forum encourages every person that visits.

With all of the great people joining, I'm excited to see what this Forum will ultimately become!
