There you have it. The end of the story. So she rallied to the end, won the title on DWTS's, and now is prepping for more back surgery. I wonder now, at the end of the day, if it was all worth it to her. Worth it to anyone here? Definitely not worth it to me. No way. CL

"A little thing...take out the disc and I'll be home that night.." Wow, are we talking a discectomy or ???

She made it sound like she ruptured the disc the day of the finals and is having it taken out already. Hmmm. No wait times, definitely no ADR She sure lives in a different world than the rest of us. And no, it sure wouldn't be worth it for me, but then I'm not into fame and glory. Good thing, as it's never going to happen with anything I do!
Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things . Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!
