You tried some 'aqua-ear' or whatever it may be called over there? It's an alcohol, and evaporates the water, I use it all the time otherwise I end up with bastard ear infections.
Katie, I hope you are feeling better.![]()

Ouch Katie! Sounds like a very painful fall re the hand/head! Hope your start feeling better soon and I don't like hearing that you've a headache of that nature. I'd still want to be seen Urgent Care or by my doctor if the headache continues just to make sure there's nothing like even a hairline fracture.
I fell recently as well tripping stepping off a curb I didn't know was there and twisted my bad foot (posterior tibial tendonitis and PF) and hurt my right hand and left foot .. didn't even think about my back nor did it bother me but my foot was of big concern to me after that fall and the next few days to a week. It flnally cleared up.. tho it was GREAT to not have my back be of main concern or out for a number of weeks because of a fall (and I did land on my bumm too)!

I have awful trouble with fluid in my ears, where it is super painful. I have went to the doctor numerous times over the years thinking I had an ear infection and most of the time they just say there is fluid in my ears (though I do get my fair share of ear infections.) Well fluid hurts. It is even worse for me in pregnancy and I'm assuming it's an increase in the fluids in my body in general. I wake up in the night with my ear just throbbing. I have Q-Tips on my night stand so I can swab the fluid out, and then I put a piece of cotton in them. I saw my family doctor when I had my sinus infection and asked him if there was anything that would help with the fluid in my ears. He prescribed an ear drop that is supposed to help dry it up, but he also said to be doing the neti pot with the hypertonic solution in it- it burns like crazy, but it works (you can google how to make it and why it's supposed to be better.) Hope this helps with your ears, as fluid is painful too.

After years of ear infections and surgeries for tubes in her ears, my daughter found that cranial sacral massaage/manipulation helped her a great deal.
Somehow it opens up the canal and gives the fluid a better chance at moving. One more way to spend money on ourselves![]()
