    Kathy,

good idea to go to your doctor.
You just don't want to use some things while pregnant, unless your doctor recommends, i would stay away from the enemas.
My doctor said when I was pregnant once that fleets would not be a good idea. I had extreme back up as I was on Magnesium Sulfate in hospital prison with each pregnancy, with the last being the worse.
After baby, I called doctor and they suggested the enema.

    Kathy,

I see it was all women who responded to your thread.
    No wonder.
Well, all, except for Dr. Justin, (but he doesn't count).
    LOL.

Glad you are feeling better--I feel your pain.

Does magnesium citrate come in a 2 litre size? 12 pack?

That could be a surprise if you drink one in the middle of the night thinking it's a soft drink.

    Bob (Honorary woman),

Mag Citrate can literally be explosive.
They come in small bottles, not one liter ones, and look like 7-Up.
So mistaken identity could be a problem.
Just imagine having a party and a party guest slips inside your refrig and says, "Ohhh, I am kind of in the mood for a Sprite", and starts to chug the bottle.
Luckily, it does not taste like any bubbly drink. I think he would spit it out.

P.S. I had to edit this one to add. One time my brother was over and he wanted some milk. So he goes inside the refrig and is chugging down some white stuff. He spit it out when we told him it was breast milk.

    HI gals,
I feel I was the queen of the big C. That is why I had to stop taking my pain pills. I felt like I was having a baby. (Not that I would know.) I just couldn't take it any more. After all my pain all I had to show for it was a big poo ball. Sorry for all the delicates out there. I now just take one before bedtime or just take an ambien. That even works better.
i will try everyone's suggestions. Thanks, Carmen

I had to take magnesium citrate several days after returning from Stenum. It worked. I mean it REALLY worked. The water/ sewage bill nearly doubled that month.

I had a similar laxitive before the economy colonoscopy (instead of a scope, they used a gerbil with a spelunkers helmet) a few years ago. I had to drink 2 litres in 6 hours. Yummy.

Breast milk......I have to ask what his reaction was.

I had one of those, minus the gerbil. I told the doctor that's what I needed, was that Half Lytel stuff they prescribed, it worked.
