A bit off topic; but it really bugs me that they call it 'elective', like any of us thought when we were a kid, "hmm, when I grow up, I want to have back surgery!" I consider breast implants, tummy tucks, nose jobs, etc. to be elective. Not back surgery that is clearly needed. Ok, getting off my soapbox.

No joke. It must be because we are all made of money and have nothing better to spend it on than back surgery. Not to mention all the visits and medications.

I wonder how many appeals he had to file to get this covered? Oh yea, that's right, we are paying for it.

Default My "elective" surgery is in 2 weeks!

Elective, right. I too have spinal stenosis (at 53) and I can't freaking walk anymore, am always in pain when on my feet, constantly cranky, need about 100 hours a day of sleep (hard to do when working full time with a family). I get "elective" but really.....

Now I just have to stay healthy while everyone around me is getting sick. No stress here. 2 weeks and counting. I want my life back!
