"Dream" Hobby

If you had no spine issues / physical limitations at all, what would be your "dream" hobby or activity?

THIS is what I want to get back to, just for fun There's nothing like being behind a 1000 lb horse galloping through water to get the juices flowing!

I used to do it a few years ago, but had to stop when my back got too bad. I lost my great old driving horse, the one in my avatar, and have to train a couple of the others, as soon as I have that surgery with Dr. Bitan

Katie, I bet that is awesome! It looks like a blast and an adrenaline rush for sure. Personally, I've always wanted to skydive.

My Dream Hobby Sport is to ski over two hundred days a season an get back to ski racing ,Coaching.
To play with my nine year old son.
TO RIDE MY BIKES
I could go on I will just keep moving forward

Once we get going, there may be an argument between my husband and I as to who drives and who 'gators', or navigates from the back. The person stands on the back step of the carriage and keeps the driver on course, and also moves the carriage around posts or other obstacles on course by 'hopping' the carriage. It is like rally car racing, with stop watches, etc. Lots of fun.

But if you come up, we can take a leisurely drive through the woods

I really want to golf, hubby goes every week with his dad and brother. My dad also golfs, as well as my siblings, my older daughter has a nice set of clubs and is also learning. I think this would be a nice family sport and would be really nice for my girls to have the memories of golfing with their grandfathers.

I want to own a Prevost conversion bus done by Marathon Coach Company. Nothing like expensive tastes. I would travel all over the country and see the sites. :thumpup:

I'm with Gil. i'd love to really ski again. I miss it sooooo much. (wish there was an emoticon for that) Other than that, if I wouldn't miss my cabin so much, and all my lazy fishing days, I would like to RV in style all over the country too, Americana style. Or maybe paint like my Dad and brother used to.

Gosh, I dearly miss skiing! Count me in the "ski 200+ days a year" -- talk about an absolute dream.

I guess my "dream" hobby, if'n I did not hurt all the time would be to get back into rock climbing. I've climbed at Seneca Rocks in West Virginia, Joshua Tree National Monument in California,Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl in Mexico and Yellowstone National Monument.

Alas, but a dream it is. That was 25 years and 30 pounds ago. I could do pull ups with one finger wedged in a rock crevice and then hang forever while I looked for the next move.
