    Default Family

Hey everyone, I got some new snapshots of my kids on the computer and wanted to share. Please feel free to post your own kids and family pictures on this thread too. I love pictures!
I don't think I have told you all; but I am watching my great nephew during the week, while his mom is at work. He is 10 weeks old and so sweet. I'm loving having a baby in the house and wanted to share some pictures of him and my girls.... they are also just loving having a baby to play with and be 'mommy' to.

    Default Cute Kids KBear!

    KBear-

Your daughter is adorable and I want a baby!!!! Wow, what a cutie pie. I miss having babies around my house. Granted, it's been a very long time since I had one. I have thought that if my back ever gets better that I'd like to maybe do some childcare. I just adore children, specifically 6 years old and under.

My son is 17 and my daughter will be 19 on Thursday this week. I just can't believe how grown up they are. We are having significant issues with our son and have been for a couple of years now. I'm about ready to strangle him, but unfortunately it's against the law.....

I'm on my hubby's computer and he doesn't have any photos on it. Later when I am on my own computer, I will post some pics of my little angels. My daughter really is an angel. I just couldn't be prouder. I wish I could say the same about my son. Oh well....

    Later...DanielleP924

I meant daughters...sorry. I'll tell you to just enjoy them while they are young, because their childhoods willy by so fast. I imagine you probably already have figured that out. I'd give anything to go back to when they were toddlers and thought that I knew everything and could do no wrong....

Don't loose heart, we had problems with one of our daughters between 14yrs - 18yrs old. Things sorted themselves out, just stick with him. She is now nearly 23, happy and we love having her home to visit. I don't regret not strangling her although at the time it seemed a valid option.

    Thanks you guys!

They do grow up waay to quick, although, sometimes I catch myself blinking... trying to miss parts of it. I can't believe my baby is going to be 4 years old in a couple of weeks, seems like yesterday that I found out I was expecting her. I really want another one, and hope my back gets well enough in the next year or so to have another, before the window of opportunity is gone (hubby is 38.) For now, I settle for babysitting, plus I get to spoil that one and send him home and no middle of the night feedings!

    K,

Just adorable shots of your girls. Thank-you for sharing. I will try to post a few of Tully again soon. I love pictures too.

    Danielle,

We too had a quite rebellious one in high school, and a much wiser, older woman, told me something at that time that I will never forget: never, ever give up on your kids. Discipline, yes, and give consequences, but never throw the towel in and say I'm done w/ you. It stayed with me. He is now my well- adjusted 31 year old son, with a few new hats: a husband, and yes, a new father. Hang in there. It DOES GET BETTER.

    Thanks Todd & CL

Danielle- I was that kid. I was a perfect angel (literally, a straight A student, was doing college and high school courses, obeyed my parents, never talked back, ect.), then I hit 16. I went wild and crazy for a few years and I did alot of crazy, stupid stuff. By 18, I started to calm down; but it wasn't until 20 that I stopped it all and went back to my prior self (and coincidentally, realized that my parents weren't idiots and knew alot more than I had given them credit for ) It will work out, although I am sure it doesn't feel like that right now. Hang in there and one day this will be all but a memory.

The one of her on the sofa (the very top pic) I took when she first noticed my Christmas tree all lit up one evening. She had been wiggling and squirming like babies do, and all of a sudden she saw it. She got completely still. She had never seen one before. Click, click, click, went my camera. The look of wonder is infectious, no?
