Hubby and I wasted no time on 'making babies'. I always wanted a large family (4 kids or more), until I had 1, then decided to take it one at a time. We got pregnant on our honeymoon. We planned on having the second soon after; but after a horrible birth, I didn't get brave enough for awhile. 2 & 1/2 years after the first, we welcomed the second. We planned on having a 3rd, by the youngests 2nd birthday; but the accident changed that. My hubby is 37 going on 38, so it wasn't really my clock ticking, but his. He doesn't want to father kids beyond 40, so I hope am able to have one by then. I am willing to accept that it may not happen (in which case I will beg hubby to adopt. I have always felt like I would have kids and adopt kids. If it were up to me, we would probably have 10 kids, my heart goes out to all the kiddos in foster care, 3rd world countries and in so many unfortunate circumstantces. I would love to be able to be a mom for one or two of them).
