What great videos guys! Made me cry, but that's not hard, I'm a pretty emotional girl. I am just thrilled that I can be of any help to anyone, don't think I will ever be able to repay the help and encouragement I have received here. I don't know how I would have gotten through this without all of you (Greg I second it being the toughest time of my life). I remember being so overwhelmed with all the information and thinking that there would never be an end to my pain and not knowing how I could get through another day. Thank you all for being there and encouraging me when I was down and helping. Love to all of you

Carson, thank-you for the video posting of K.D. Lang singing her rendition of "Hallelujah." It took my breath away. When my oldest brother went missing from our family for 17 years after serving 2 tours in Viet Nam, it broke my heart. I had always looked up to him and put him on a pedestal. Unfortunately, he and my Dad had their differences and never could see eye to eye, so he just up and walked out of our lives....for 17 years. I was a young teenage girl when he left, and when I finally found him through The Salvation Army's missing person's bureau, I was a married woman and Mother to 3 sons. When he opened that letter I had submitted, (me not knowing if he would ever receive it, or if he was even alive anymore, or worse....if he was alive, received the letter, but chose never to respond) and he read about me describing my life over the passed 17 years, how much I had thought about him, missed him, and all that he had missed during those years, those were the words he wrote back to me: Cindylou, one of these days, I'm gonna drive into the mountains, find me a big ole' rock, and have me a good ole' cry. So, I always loved that expression, because it came from him, I had found him and finally brought him home. Hallelujah was first released in 1984. I found my brother in 1991 and so I loved playing that song over and over to express my gratitude to God, for giving me my brother back. So, yes, thank-you for the memories, from the bottom of my heart. Cindylou

Thanks for sharing, I LOVE that song. I have Jason Castro singing it on my Ipod and am always listening to it. My kids think that the song is originally from Shrek, since it was on one of those movies- LOL

Gotta love the Canadian contribution to the music scene. We had to study Leonard Cohen's lyrics of 'Suzanne' in high school. His classics still whirl around in my head.
