I've been playing with my new camera and the frosty garden has given me some fun subject matter. It also shows that I have a lot of weeding and cleaning to do before the snow sets in
Does anyone else have some to share? I know we've done this before with pets. No subject limits here, just whatever makes you smile. Figured we all needed a bit of that right now.

The crispness of the photos is amazing. What kind of a camera are you using?
I haven't taken the time to figure out how to post pics here. I have some really nice pictures that I took when I was in Germany which are beautiful. My avatar is one of them
I'll have to take some time to learn how to post them.
Disc Bulge C4/C5, Disc Degeneration T11/T12, Bi-Lateral tears L5/S1, Diagnosed w/ Lumbar Disc Derangement w/ Radiculopaphy. Treatment: IDET, Percutaneous Discectomy, SI Joint Injection, Facet Block. All failed. Empire BC/BS Denied Coverage for ADR-lost all of my appeals. MVP also denied coverage.
Anterior/Posterior Fusion L5/S1 -1/20/09 - I'm not 100% but I'll take the 85%! When the weather co-operates, it's 95% woohoo!
Kathy, I wish I was young and gorgeous like you areCindylou, you always make me feel so good, until I compare photos ;-) You are aging so much more gracefully than I!
Thanks for all the complements, but I didn't do anything except record the beauty out there.
Nairek, it's a Nikon D60. I wanted the D40 but they have been discontinued, and the ones that were even better were way out of my price range. It has a great macro setting on it, and it has auto-focus, so all I have to do is point, wait till it beeps, and press the button
I have a pretty old telephoto that I use on it too, but it's manual everything. I have to 'bracket' most of the pictures, going up and down a few f-stops to get the exposure correct. It's great that I can check the mistakes and delete them as needed. If I get enough art sales, I will invest in a new auto lens but for now, I'm just thrilled to have the camera.
I take all my own reference shots for painting, and my pup pulled my old 35mm off the top shelf last year, and it wasn't worth repairing. It was a cold, dark time without a camera for awhile!
Nairek, all you have to do is upload your photos off your computer onto another 'sharing' site. I use Webshots, but I think Justin and others here use Photobucket. They all have a function that lets you chose the size of the picture you are sending on here. I won't say that's it's as easy as pie, because I screwed it up a few times before getting it right but lots here will help if you need it.![]()
