Out of all of those, there were only 2 that seemed "hopeful." But starting again this morning. I do love the looking process. I love houses, always have, so this part is fun, although throw in a healthy dose of stress too, since I am on a time crunch. Katie, I cannot even imagine moving in 10 days! It is going to be a challenge to pack everything.....but I am definitely going to hire folks to help, and will sell off some furniture too, once I know what will fit in a new place and what won't.

Inspection is tomorrow....sure hope no surprises there.
    Hi Cindylou,
If you are still looking and still selling, I would like to send you some reading material. I would like to fax them to you unless you have completed the transactions. Let me know. You could give me the fax number PM if you would like. I have not been on the computer as much as usual. I need to get some work done on my house. Not selling, but there will be people here. Need to have clean walls and floors. Carmen

Thanks for the offer Carmen. Well, things are looking up....don't want to count my chicks before they hatch, ya know, but.....our buyers finally got their legal issue worked out, so they close today on their town home, and our contract still stands with them, so we officially have 6 weeks from today to find a new home, pack, unpack, eeegad.....I best get movin'!! Cindylou,
I am very happy for you. Some of what I was going to send you was what to expect but looks like you have all your ducks in order. I heard on the radio today that in Illinois the Realtor's Association has said that houses are selling. Not as much as in previous years, but they are selling. Their is a big back log of buyers out there, so don't be too quick to accept the first offer, depending on your time frame. I hope that you are truly in love with your new house. Don't worry if you think it might be too small. You can always remodel, add on, or use the basement as a new lower level. Around where I live, everyone has a lower level that has been finished. (except me) I have a ranch so I have the largest basement that was mostly used for storage. I may do something else in the future. Wish you a lot of luck in your new home. If ever you need anything, let me know. Carmen

Thanks you guys. Our buyers officially closed on their old place and we are set to close on ours with them no later than March 25; of course they (our buyers) want to get in sooner, however, it depends on how soon we find a place. We are heading out this morning again with our agent to look at a few more places.....When we got home yesterday from house hunting, the new buyer's car was parked right in front of our house. She was sitting in the car, not sure if she was taking pics or what, but I thought, geesh lady, give us a break....we haven't even got out of here yet, nor closed! We have 6 more weeks....so chill.

Maybe today we'll find "the one."
