I've been doing a bit of research to find the most comfortable, ergonomic, and some-what affordable chair. So far it seems that they do run from $500 -$2000. Just wanted to see if forum users have any themselves. Input, feedback, and pix would be much appreciatedHere are some I have found

Chair's a chair man.
Kneeling chairs aren't too bad, bought one a few days ago. Most of the 'ergonomic' ones are overpriced overengineered rubbish. Just get a straight back and a lumbar roll.
Fitballs aren't too good imo for sitting, moving surface imparts more load to the spine, making it work harder. Good for training, not sitting.
Also, I got a free zero gravity recliner with my house. It's called the 'floor'.

Regarding ergo chairs and zero gravity recliners. If I may, Hooch, you sound distinctly like someone who's never owned or used either one.
As someone with cervical and lumbar issues working on a second degree with 3 to 4 hours of reading a night, in addition to my online research, I assure you my zero gravity recliner is far from using the 'floor'.
I find it sound practice to actually use an ergonomic chair before declaring them useless to others
I've used an ergonomic chair for 10 years for the very reason a chair isn't just a chair. You'll find a few million people sitting at computer terminals for a living who would likely have a different view as well, if you attempted to trade their ergo chair for a standard one. If "a chair is a chair" I tend to think the thousands of the budget minded companies who furnish their employees with ergo chairs would go with the $50 chair as opposed to the $500.![]()
Spine Noob
April 2007 - Injured one cervical C6/C7 and one lumber L5/S1 in same accident
No major treatments so far aside from exercising and core strengthening best I can.
Never, ever, ever, give up.
I find it hard to spend that much on a chair as well. Now, if it had a built in beer cooler.....

The chair is pretty ugly IMO, but I was sold after I sat in one after my lumbar discogram in 2003.
