    Not for me. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) made me sick and dizzy.
    Diagnosis:
    Degenerative disc disease throughout spine
    Generalized disc bulging with mild narrowing of thecal sac in L2-L3, L3-L4, L4-L5, L5-S1.
    Moderate spinal stenosis L4-L5
    Foraminal narrowing
    Recent compression Fx at T10,T11.
    Treatment:
    Spinal decompression 2007
    Cortisone injection in lower back in 2010
    Relieved of pain for now
    Hope for ADR

    it's all I had for childbirth with my three children (not short easy labours either). routinely offered first line pain management.

    very different from the pain relief that I now need

    I remember the dentist giving me that before yanking my wisdom teeth from my head. I asked him why it was called laughing gas. He said that it was very unusually, but maybe a couple of times a year that he'd get a patient that would begin laughing when it was administered.

    I've never felt so silly in my life in those unsuccessful attempts to suppress busting out laughing.

    I love that stuff at the dentist, never had even used it until I was in my 20's (and I had already had a ton of dental work at that point) It was amazing how relaxed it made me, I really didn't give a crap about what they were doing to me. I request it every time now- LOL

    31 years old- 1/06- In wreck with 18 wheeler at 25 years old; 6/06- Head on collision on Interstate, both wrecks other drivers fault. Numerous MRI's, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture, TENS therapy, massage therapy, facet injections, epidural injections, Nerve study, Discogram, confirms pain in L4/5, IDET, decompression, Bi-lateral neurotomy L3/4/5, denied by insurance twice, in Active L clinical trial, had surgery March 17, 2009 in Miami, FL- received Active L disc at 29 years old. Pain and medication free as of October 2010!Mommy to Emma- 8 years, Ava- 6 years & had baby Eli after ADR, via c-section on March 25, 2011 , completely pain free still!
