    Default Magic Show

So, everyone knows that scene in the majority of magic shows, where the magician selects a "random" audience member to volunteer to be cut in half?

I would gladly be the volunteer, as long as the magician actually cut me in half, ensuring that the saw went through the disc...ugggh!

I'm venting...this is classified as one of those really bad days, that I know many of you have experienced...

I hate missing work, I hate not having the strength to do mundane tasks, I hate not being able to play with my girls, etc. etc.....

    What a day....

... too banged up to even kick the dog... sucks..

Any change on the insurance front? You end up researching these things so much you almost feel like it'd be worth having a crack at the op yourself. Sure, I'm a handyman, how hard can it be? ... just rig up a mirror, bottle of rum and away you go ...

I'm sorry Matt, back pain sucks. There were days that I thought the same thing, anything for relief. It is so hard being restricted like that. I know it seems like it will never be better, but it will. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

Chris- You made me laugh out loud!

Oh, Matt, I'm so sorry for you also. Days like that just bite the big one. I knocked myself out with all the Christmas hosting and in-town relatives for 2 weeks, and I knew all of that would eventually tip me over. Well, it did...my body just caved, then I got the flu, I'm sure partly from getting so run down, (the vomiting, high fever, chills, super fatigue kind....I guess that's the only kind, lol) and I have been in bed for 4 days. Anyway, I hope this passes for you soon. Hang in there. I think sometimes the depression is worse than the pain. It's just such a vicious cycle. Sending hugs your way, ((((( ))))) Cindylou

Matt, I've definitely had those days in the past (especially when you're fighting your lousy insurance company too). Hang in there and remember the small things in life. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

I have begun the 2nd level appeal process.

You are right in that I feel like I could do the surgery tonight with all the research I have done.

Laurie Todd was right - insurance company's shoot themselves in the foot with their own words

I heard a commercial the other day for BCBS of TX and all their "we've been taking care of Texans for generations" and "we care" junk, made me want to vomit. Insurers make politicians look like choir boys and girls.
