Default My 3 year old's first day back at Mother's Day Out

Here are some picture of Ava's first day back at Mother's Day Out. She is pouting in most of them, because she doesn't want to go. She is a mommy's girl and does not like to be away from me, not even with daddy! I could have sworn he cut the umbilical cord; but apparently her and I are still attached. She cried everyday last year when I would take her, I would literally be running out of the building as to not have to hear her. Then, no sooner than I get outside and peek in her classroom window, she is playing happily. She just has to let me know how much she is going to miss me. When I pick her up she is happy and talks about how much fun she had at school.

She's a beautiful little girl! I wouldn't call that look "poty", she looks kinda PO'd.

By the way, why do they make kids where hardhats in daycare? Do they put 'em to work after the parents leave?

Yes, but she is also good at playing with you. Mine used to do the same...make me feel awful about leaving them, and then immediately get to the business of fun I fell for it every time, and would do it again in a minute. Oh, they know what buttons to push with us!

She is a gorgeous little girl, and I can't wait to play grandma and snuggle with her when we finally meet Tell her the chickens are waiting!
Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things . Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!
