The Twins are beating Detroit at the Metrodome on Tuesday Night. Last game at the Metrodome, Home Town Advantage, Detroit has been a scrub team for years, Twins have won the World Series twice in the past several years. My odds are on the Twins.

Sorry Dave but, old loyalties die hard since Betsy and I are from Minnesota.

    Terry,

So sorry you are misguided on this. I'm so confident that Detroit will win Tuesday, that I will buy you two cups of coffee if'n the Twins win.

Wanna take that bet? Same coffee house as last summer.

    Pete,

I'll be watching with extreme anticipation as the champagne is popped in the Tiger dugout.

Seriously -- This has been the best race in MLB this year by far. The boys of summer earned most of their salary this year.

Phillies clinched home field advantage!

Citizens Bank Park was absolutely electric when I was at the home games during last years postseason. Philly fans can be brutal to visiting teams.
